BSc (Building Management)

I am a construction management professional with 30 years’ experience delivering Class 2 residential developments and commercial projects across Sydney. My career has progressed from Foreman and Contracts Administrator through Senior Project Manager, Commercial Manager, Construction Manager and Head of Construction roles, giving me practical experience across every stage of project delivery.

For the past 15 years, I have held senior builder-developer roles delivering Class 2 residential and mixed-use developments, projects from 50 units to over 200 apartments across Sydney. This includes direct experience delivering projects under the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020, coordinating design, compliance, construction, certification and the pathway through to Occupation Certificate, on to the release of the building bond.

My earlier career included commercial, retail, education and aged-care projects delivered for established commercial builders under hard-dollar contracts.

I have extensive experience identifying design, compliance, contractual, cost and program risks before they affect completion. I am also experienced in assessing projects in distress, identifying the underlying issues and working directly with project teams to implement practical recovery strategies.

I established Carrowkeel Consultancy to provide developers, builders, owners and project stakeholders with independent construction advice and hands-on project support. My approach is practical, clear and commercially focused, with an emphasis on early risk identification, regulatory compliance, project recovery and successful completion.
